We are required by the Migration Agents Regulations to be registered with the Migration Agents Registration Authority. You can view our registration details on their website as well as access information on our profession. 

Unlike offshore Agents, Australian Registered Migration Agents are required to adhere to a strict Code of Conduct.

Offshore agents are not required to maintain any professional development requirements or have to submit no less then 75% successful applications within every 12 month Period.

Offshore agents are also not required to manage a mandatory ‘clients account’. This is a bank account that must be held by all Registered Migration Agents to hold client funds. We are unable to draw from this account without your written approval, which protects your funds.

We are also required by law to issue every new client a full comprehensive schedule and cost order before we begin any work. This cost order must outline all costs and disbursement expected by the application.

Our files must also be kept in a particular order and can be requested for audit by the Migration Agents Registration Authority.

Unlike offshore agents our Migration Agents Regulations protects you as the client.

All new agents are now required to complete a Graduate Certificate in Australian Immigration law which is six months full time study. The course is quite gruelling and difficult. This course covers all aspects of migration law and practice in Australia, including visa cancellations, Migration Review, the Australian Visa System, for formation of laws in Australia and Citizenship. Australia lawyers are not required to complete this course and can register without any required knowledge.

We are also required to supply you on initial engagement a document issued by the Migration Agents Registration Authority called Information on the Regulation of the Migration Advice Profession and make you aware of our Code of Conduct.

Being Australian based gives us the advantage of dealing with the numerous government departments required by your visa application in real time.
