Andrea holds a Bachelor of Laws from Queensland University of Technology and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Leo Cussen Institute, Victoria. She has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Company Directors Course Diploma and the Governance Institute of Australia Certificates in Governance Practice and Governance for Not-for-Profits.
She is currently completing her MBA.
Andrea commenced practice in 2012 following an extensive career based in Asia in the international aviation and tourism industry. Andrea has practised in commercial, corporate and property law and now practices at Nevile & Co.
In addition to her experience as a lawyer, Andrea has experience in senior commercial management and corporate governance, having held both executive and non-executive directorships.
Andrea currently serves as Deputy Chair and Chair of the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee of a Victorian State Government established Regional Tourism Board. She has previously served as Company Secretary, Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee and on a Remuneration Committee, and has a focus on best practice governance and corporate compliance.
Andrea also presently sits on the Victorian Board of a national Not-for-Profit organisation in the disability services sector.
This broad base of experience and knowledge allows Andrea to take a holistic approach to providing advice to clients in various areas of law.
