David holds a Masters of Juris Doctor and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Studies from the University of Canberra, and a graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University.

The areas of law in which David practises include Commercial, Corporate, Bankruptcy and Insolvency, Family, Litigation, Asset Protection, Estate Planning and Business Succession.

David practises as a Solicitor Advocate.

Prior to joining Nevile & Co., David practised in the Australian Capital Territory and appeared in the A.C.T. Magistrates Court, A.C.T. Supreme Court, N.S.W. Local Court, the Federal Magistrates Court (as it then was), the Federal Court and the Family Court.

Since joining Nevile & Co., David has appeared in the Magistrates Court in Melbourne, Heidelberg and Dandenong, the County Court, the Victorian Supreme Court, the Federal Circuit Court and the Family Court, and in numerous mediations with respect to civil litigation and family law matters.

David has extensive experience in commercial and business matters, and prior to being admitted as a lawyer, David owned and operated a successful business for 18 years, with approximately 35 staff operating in Canberra, the Murrumbidgee region of N.S.W., North East Victoria, Melbourne and Geelong. David therefore has experienced many of the issues which his clients may be facing. David provides practical, plain language, cost effective advice.
